Do I actually have to do this?
Yes. From October 2027, waste carriers, brokers and dealers must record waste movements digitally; paper transfer notes are being phased out, and non-compliant records carry fines from £xxxx. WasteTrace makes it a 60-second job instead of a headache.
Will it work with no signal?
Yes. WasteTrace is built offline-first. Capture everything in the cab (photo, codes, signature) at the yard, a transfer station or a dead-zone lay-by, and it syncs automatically the moment you're back in coverage. A driver is never stuck waiting for signal.
I already use software (or a diary) to run my jobs, do I have to switch?
No. WasteTrace is a companion, not a replacement. Your diary, spreadsheet or office system keeps running exactly as now. WasteTrace only handles the waste record. No migration, no double-keying.
Will my drivers manage it?
